looking for a non-traditional way to 'print' calling cards? use a rubber stamp!
for carly's calling cards, each and every custom logo was hand-stamped onto a 120# duplex (double-sided) sheet with inlaid columns.
rubber stamps offer great texture in addition to the paper's surface since they aren't always perfect. rough and edgy - smooth and elegant all at the same time. i handed over the custom stamp once the cards were complete so, not only will carly be able to make more cards as needed, but she can also create a letterhead, stamp envelopes and even mailers too.
just wanted to share with ya'll some feedback from sarah's mom (in regard to sarah's birth announcement)...
Hi Karly,
Thought you'd want to see what my VERY DISCRIMINATING parents had to say about the announcement...
Truly, they are marvelous people but very picky about likes and dislikes, and kind but have a critical eye towards things. So if they LOVED IT - everyone will LOVE IT!! Just like we do...
Thanks again!!!
Wendy
and, she forwarded this message from one of the recipients...
The birth announcement is WONDERFUL. Really unique.
i've often been out and about, strike a conversation and am asked what i do. so i put together a bunch of 'minis'. being a more 'visual' person, i find these 'minis' not only help sell my work but showcase it too. each project image is tipped-on and allows me to easily swap out old for new.
