kelley + thomas' wedding invitations

remember this sneak peek? here's the unveiling...kelley + thomas' wedding invitations!

kelley and thomas are a local Atlanta couple who came across porter's birth announcement (seen here) while at a friend's house. they contacted SB looking for a completely custom invitation suite to set the tone for their ecru and chocolate, artisanal-inspired wedding day.

the front of this double-sided invitation showcases a hand-punched calendar and event details. an information envelope with chocolate seal (on the back side) houses an accommodations card and a mini rehearsal dinner invite. a coordinating wrap around mailing label tops it all off! all pieces are printed on 100% recycled, acid free papers.

i'm pretty amazed with some of the new usps stamp offerings! take a look at the new thanksgiving lovelies.it's about time! and, of course, there are these of which i simply cannot get enough.

formal response card rsvp

a long, long time ago people didn’t need or even use response cards. when they received an invitation, they would hand-write their RSVP on personal stationery. some people still prefer the old-fashioned way. in fact, today, miss. manners even refers to the response card as, "horrid," of which, i neither agree nor disagree.

so, imagine my surprise when i received the opportunity to do just this - reply formally, in handwriting, to the request of my family's attendance to a wedding! how lovely and romantic. and, what a great opportunity to create a personal stationery suite for my husband and i...



a monogrammed tip-on doubles as a header for the first sheet and as an envelope seal. corresponding sticky-back mailing labels complete the set!
