my little helper

i was trying to sneak in a couple shots over the weekend, heard a little shuffle behind me and realized i had a little helper (who managed to find her own camera) joining in on the fun.

she said to me, "mommy, i picture too!" melted my heart. 

if you look close enough you can see one of our pups joined us too! thanks to my dh for being so quick and catching it all! it's certainly not a moment i'll ever forget and i'm so happy to have it 'documented' :)

wedding shower

here's a little *custom* project i just finished up for a group of ladies celebrating a friend's wedding shower. they wanted to do something small but, thoughtful — something that celebrates life, love and friendships...

the poster is 11x17 and, in case you're wondering, the gift tag holds a gift card :)

black + white

recently i've been quite drawn to good ole basic and classic black + white, and it just dawned on me the other day how i've been surrounding myself with it...

prints, by yours truly, that hang in our family room and are housed in the ikea ribba frame. they'd go nicely in most any room of the house, even a nursery - in fact, they go quite nicely with these little lovelies.

another purchase from ikea, a set of stockholm blad cushions (also in the family room). i was immediately smitten with them all stuffed in a cardboard bin (a.k.a. ikea style) and it wasn't 'til i got home that i realized why i liked 'em so much (see prints above). ha!

and, last but not least, the guest bathroom! the curtain and zebra print towel are from target (neither of which seem to be available online - sorry!) and the ansel adams print was a gift to my husband from moi many, many years ago.

i feel some black + white stationery coming on...

so excited to announce that i've ventured into my first wholesale relationship! when i exhibited at the sweet ps arts festival i made a handful of priceless contacts and potentially one that was interested in carrying some of my items in-store. well, that ONE was none other than erika reade! i just dropped off the full order the other day and am still floating on cloud 9. here's a little behind the scenes glimpse...
