chevron letterhead suite

it was quite a treat to work with eva on this lovely letterhead suite...

eva really liked these chevron calling cards, but wanted to put her own spin on the design for her budding business. we worked together and came up with double-sided calling cards, a letterhead, envelopes and even a set of jotters - all with a chevron pattern and gray and purple palette.

tinkerbell birthday party

remember charlotte's dora-themed second birthday (seen here and here)? well, this year it was all about Tinkerbell! we had 10 little fairies flapping their wings and having great fun! it all started with these lovely personalized Tinkerbell invitations, complete with fairy dust...

there wasn't room on the cake for writing so i put together a 'happy birthday charlotte' banner fastened to wooden grill kabob skewers. it worked like a charm!

each fairy went home with a treat bag filled to the brim with stickers, a fancy ring, homemade rice krispie treats, a Tinkerbell coloring page and crayon, and fairy wand with curly ribbon. the muslin drawstring bags were topped off with a Japanese washi tape flag...

and, last but not least, Tinkerbell (er, Charlotte) herself...

if you look close, you'll see a birthday banner, Tinkerbell headbands, and even a couple treat bags with a skull and crossbone sticker for the lost boys (we didn't want the little dudes to feel left out!).

just found out about etsy's very own treasury tracker. just type what you're looking for into the search box (eg - your shop name), and voila! the search engine will search for lists by list titles, list tags, list curators, shops in lists and items in lists. i really must have been hiding under a rock, sheesh!

well, hello there! i bet you thought i'd never be back, huh?

i'd like to start this year off by saying THANK YOU to everyone...my family, my readers, my customers, my custom clients, my wholesalers, and friends! this past year has been a blast and the best ever for SweetBeaker and it's good to be back.

so, where have i been? sky deep in orders, that's where! throw in two birthdays, a trip for thanksgiving, the christmas holiday, a christmas 'break', a family room re-do, and some holiday guests, and...we're semi back. i'm still catching up on orders that came through during my break, working on bringing everyone (including myself) back up to speed, and trying to catch my breath!

there will be lots of "good things" (channeling my inner Martha here, bare with me) happening for SweetBeaker this year...lots of new projects to share, inspiration, a brand refresh, new items in the shoppe, announcements and more. i can't wait to get back to regular blogging and sharing! thanks again, everyone!
